What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with the Iditarod because the head dog handler that runs it asked me to get involved. I was like, “Sure, why not?”

What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because it’s a great way to continue this legacy and learn about the culture of dog racing and give back to the community.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was petting a wild moose behind the hotel that we stayed at during my time in Anchorage.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that perseverance through adversity is the best way to attack things in life that could go wrong, as well as just being an honest human being.
