What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with The Iditarod very early in 2020 when they were dealing with having to have all of the racers and helpers tested for COVID so Capstone Family Medicine came on board and I was one that set the testings up for The Iditarod.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with The Iditarod because I believe in The Iditarod and have worked somewhat with some of the dogs and know how much they love pulling and the race and operating and working with the mushers, it’s just been a real privilege, and so I’m here today to support The Iditarod.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was getting together with Dr. Jody and having our pictures taken under the beginning arch.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that we were created for community and when each one of us participates in community and we’re connected, we are better.
