What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod as a little kid when the mushers came through. They used to give me a bunch of gifts. I remember Martin Boozer always gave me some candy or Powerade or some Gatorade. Most memorable thing anyway.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I love the sport and all the mushers that are doing it for their life. This year I was volunteering my time to just to help out with rides and whatnot, helping the checkers. In the next two years, I think I’m going to take over for Billy Honea eventually, if I’m here.
