What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod because my friends were involved, and it was fun to see the dogs. My parents took me when I was little, and then later on as an adult, I just got involved in the snowshoe softball tournament, and that was really what hooked me. So just being outside in the winter.

What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I’m here today because my friend Jenny invited me to be a part of this great tailgater at Bootie Alley. The energy’s awesome, and we’re here to see the dogs, and just spend time with my family outside.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was going with my mom to the very start downtown and seeing all the dogs take off. It might’ve been the sprint races. I can’t really remember, but it was just super fun to watch how fast those dogs took off.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is I’m very blessed to be here, and I’m blessed to be with the people that I am with.
