Iditarod Role: MY JOB IS TO HELP THE HANDLERS PREPARE ALL THROUGH FALL TRAINING, THROUGH THE SEASON, ALL THE WAY UP TO TODAY, AND SEND THEM OFF TO THE TRAIL.

THE DOGS ARE THE MAIN REASON. AND I WANTED TO SEE WHAT THEY’RE CAPABLE OF. I’VE BEEN WORKING WITH THEM FOR A FEW YEARS AND THIS IS KIND OF THE ULTIMATE CULMINATION OF ALL THAT.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

EVERYTHING LEADING UP TO IT, ALL THE MILES IN THE TRAIL BEFORE THIS.

EVERYBODY HAS SOMETHING TO TEACH.
