What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod helping an old man train his dogs. His name’s Jim Lanier.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved because my family is a bunch of four-legged fuzzy things.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable experiences goes back to my rookie year, probably, on my way into Nome. From Safety to Nome, typically mushers want to pick up the speed and get it done, but I thought I’d never get to do this again. So, I slowed down and spent more time.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is, in my life, having these dogs has made my life better.
