What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I got involved with the Iditarod back when I was in veterinary school, about 2015, and then I had a friend that has done it the last few years and said it was an amazing experience, so I decided to get involved.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I want to expand my knowledge in veterinary medicine. These dogs are fantastic, they’re athletes, and I really want to get another idea of a different part of my profession.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was meeting the mushers. They love their dogs, they love this race, and it’s great to see their enthusiasm.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that you have to go with the flow.
