What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod because my family owns Yentna Station. As soon as I could walk, I was stripping bibs and helping out with it. It’s honestly always been something that I look forward to.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I love spending time with family and the atmosphere that Iditarod creates. I also love snow machining, and it’s just always fun.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was playing around in the powder on the machines as the dog sleds went by and just watching.

What do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that Alaska will always be a place that I come back to and spend a lot of my time.
