Question 1: What is it about running sled dogs that you love so much?

What I love about running dogs is the adventure, the open spaces, seeing things that you can’t see almost anywhere else, and just being at one with the dogs and seeing what they can do. Everybody says this sport’s all about the dogs. It truly is.

Question 2: What, who or how and when & why did you first get involved running the Iditarod?

I got involved running dogs because I tried it one time and it’s like a drug.

Question 3:  Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences running the Iditarod.

My most memorable experience about running the Iditarod is everything about it. From the start to the finish, it’s amazing. You should try it.

What in life do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is the finish line that nobody really wants to cross when they start. And that’s kind of like the Iditarod. We love to start, but sometimes you’re getting near the finish and you just want to turn around and do it again.
