What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with the Iditarod because my friend told me that Alaskans can volunteer. I had no idea. I thought that it was this magical, really hard to get into kind of thing. But here I am. 

What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I love everything about it. I love the dogs and the people that race and all of the volunteering that goes into making it happen.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences so far has been going up to Winterlake Lodge and just eating the most incredible feast that I’ve ever laid my eyes upon.
