What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod through handling with Brent Sass in 2012, and he took 13th place in that race and got Rookie of the Year honors.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I am handling for Brent Sass, and we have had quite good success in several races, and nothing tops the race we just finished this morning.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was standing under the Burled Arch this morning as Brent took the winning spot on the race and was crowned champion. I also enjoyed being a tag sled rider and meeting all of the trail-gaters along the race who supported us and shouted wild and free throughout that eight-mile journey.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional, and don’t forget to have as much fun as you can along the way.
