What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod back in 2007 when my sister moved up here and I saw this race happening and it seemed so exciting. So I have been volunteering ever since.

What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with Iditarod because I truly believe this is a wonderful sport and I want to see the dogs taken care of.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was many years ago, when I first went out to the prison (the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center when a select group of women get the privilege of caring for Iditarod dogs) with a load of returned dogs and I was able to see the northern lights.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that it keeps going and we should never stop.
