What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
TO BRING THE RACE TO PEOPLE. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING THEY CAN ABOUT THIS RACE. AND QUITE FRANKLY, THE MEDIA, THE BIG MEDIA, THEY COVER, LIKE, THE FIRST TEN, THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE A CHANCE OF WINNING. BUT MY JOB IS TO FOLLOW THE REST OF THE PACK AND SHARE THEIR STORIES.
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
I SUPPOSE IT WAS MY FIRST ONE: BEING ON THE TRAIL AS TEACHER ON THE TRAIL BECAUSE I HAD NEVER BEEN IN ANY OF THOSE VILLAGES. AND IT WAS JUST A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. IF I COULD SHARE ANOTHER ONE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE YEAR THAT WE WENT NORTH IN 2017 AND I HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND TIME IN TANANA AND HUSLIA.
What do you know for sure?:
THAT YOU’VE GOT TO MAKE THE BEST OF EVERY DAY.
