What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
I AM INVOLVED AS A VOLUNTEER IN THE IDITAROD BECAUSE I WANT TO KEEP MY CONNECTION WITH THE DOGS AND THE PEOPLE AND THE PLACES THAT MAKE ALASKA WHAT IT IS. AND I DON’T WANT TO OWN 60 DOGS.
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
MY MOST REWARDING IDITAROD EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN ON THE VOLUNTEERING SIDE BECAUSE I THINK I GET MORE OUT OF THAT. BUT MY MOST MEMORABLE CERTAINLY WOULD BE RUNNING A DOG TEAM TO NOME; AND THE SITUATIONS I GOT MYSELF INTO AND BACK OUT OF.
What do you know for sure?:
THAT STRENGTH COMES FROM WITHIN. IT’S NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN GET FROM ANYONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF.
