What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

I’VE ALWAYS JUST SORT OF WANTED TO HELP. AND I THOUGHT, WELL, I HAVE DOGS. WHY DON’T I JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS. AND I JUST MANAGE TO STICK WITH IT.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

WELL, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY. ALL OF THEM ARE SORT OF REWARDING. BECAUSE, LIKE TODAY, HAVING TO ADJUST EVERYTHING IN A HURRY – WE’RE GOING TO FAIRBANKS. SO THEY’VE ALL BEEN REALLY SORT OF GOOD. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY’RE DONE.

What do you know for sure?:

THAT IT CHANGES. NOTHING STAYS THE SAME. YOU JUST HAVE TO ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES.
