What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod back in 2014, and I was actually here the year before on a mission trip, and I heard about the Iditarod and we could get involved and volunteer that way. And 2014 was my first Iditarod and I started out as a security guy. And when I started, I started as security, volunteer security.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod to help ensure that there is a successful race, to help make sure that the fans have a good and safe time, and that we can just have everybody keep this race going and keep it alive.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences is I know in only three times in Iditarod history we’ve gone to Fairbanks and two of those I was able to be a part of. So for me that was pretty exciting just to see it at a different location.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and he died for my sins. And with that, that’s part of the reason for living is to share that love with other people around me.
