What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first got involved with the Iditarod when our mission president he texted us, and he wanted all the missionaries to go help out at the Iditarod because we love to do service, and we love to help people. I am here today at the Iditarod because I love to help out and do service. It makes me feel good, and I love helping out the community and just trying new things. Also, the Iditarod is a new thing for me. It’s a lot of fun.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today at the Iditarod because I love to help out and do service. It makes me feel good, and I love helping out the community and just trying new things. Also, the Iditarod is a new thing for me. It’s a lot of fun.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

My most memorable Iditarod moment was we were doing some service, and then we were waiting for one of the shipments to come. We started singing songs, and then we started playing games, kind of little kid games, but it was fun, kind of, to go back to the little kid days and have a little fun while we were waiting for the shipment to come.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that God lives, and He’s real. And that if we trust Him and if we have faith, good times will come. As long as we persevere and work hard, we will be blessed, and things will always turn out. Yeah, that’s what I know is for sure.
