What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

Well, Lance Mackey went to school with my kids and all these arm bands are from his races.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

I always like to send them off with on the trail with a gift. One of my favorites was I sent Lance on the trail right before he was leaving, and I gave him a watch with Homer Simpson, and it says, “Are we there yet?” “No.” “Are we there yet?” “No.” “Are there yet?” “No.”

What do you know for sure?:

It doesn’t get any better than this. I always have a positive attitude.
