What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod when Dr. Ron Holstrom, who I currently work with, introduced me to the race and got me excited to join.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I am constantly amazed with these canine athletes and how much they love their job. It helps remind me how much I also love my job as a veterinarian.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was just getting to meet all the other veterinarians and feeling their energy and their excitement.

What in life do you know for sure?

I know for sure in life is that family is the most important thing and no matter what hardships come your way, you always have them to lean on.
