What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

First Baptist Church, Thomasville, Georgia, involved with Graceworks. We started sending a team to Alaska 12 years ago and now I lead that mission team, fortunately.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

Well, you have the beauty and the nature, but you also have the call to share the faith, so it’s an opportunity to witness on a grand scale to people from around the world, all at one time and to help great cause, to be involved with Iditarod.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:

Being able to handle with some of the mushers that have won, that are famous within Alaska and just having some quiet time with them at the start line or in the musher pit.

What in life do you know for sure?

That God is Savior.
