What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with the Iditarod because of Bruce and Diana Moroney. They work on my airplane every year. They told me how fun it was to get out here and play around with some dogs and see the race.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

And I used to work out in Iditarod, or Unalakleet, about 15 years ago. So I saw the race go through here, and wanted to be part of it again.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was hauling all these dogs around this year. It’s the first time throwing all the dogs in the airplane, besides our little tiny one back home. It’s been kind of fun watching those dogs bounce around, and see them do their thing.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is, it’s what you make of it. It could be as good as you want or as bad as you want, but you’re in control of how you want your life to turn out.
